Application requirements:
- Completed application form.( Nationals of
Pakistan and Bangladesh must complete special application
forms.)
- Passport valid for at least 6 months.
- passport-size photos.
- Fee - £30(postal orders only for postal applications).
- Stamped addressed special delivery envelope for postal applications.
Days required for visa stamping:1 day (personal applications);
4-6 weeks (postal applications); up to 3 months (if the
application needs to be sent to India). Restricted Area
Permits: 7 days.
We strongly recommend all travellers to have adequate travel insurance.
Local currency is Indian Rupees Most main hotels, restaurants and shopping
centres accept major credit cards. There is no limit to the amount of foreign
currency that visitors can bring.
Weather will be mostly hot and sunny. There may be an occasional rain.
We advice cotton outfits, hats, sunglasses, sunscreen lotions etc..
